Why study as a welder?

Primarily because the welder is a shortage profession. There is a huge demand for well-trained professionals both in Europe and in Hungary. The topics of our trainings have been developed in close cooperation with large companies, so our participants can immediately apply the acquired knowledge.

In addition, welders can expect high expected earnings. The welding profession provides high salaries for beginners. This will give you an advantage over other shortage professions as it is much harder to get a good salary.

Why Choose Us?

Thanks to our flexible education system, you can do work and family.
Our academy also offers individual and group welding training – tailored to your needs.

The basic purpose of our training is to enable welders to carry out welding of various metals in their daily work.
Do their job thoroughly and professionally with the right knowledge.
We always provide practical and real-life knowledge!

Each of our instructors is well-trained, with many years of professional experience.

Our welding stations are equipped with modern, well-equipped tools, so that all participants can learn with the latest technology!

What courses do we launch?

Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding course

Tungsten inert gas welding (TIG) is an arc welding process, which uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode, shrouded by a protective atmosphere of inert gas, such as argon or helium. The extra weld metal can be provided by a separate filler rod if necessary. A direct current is used, with the electrode negative, to avoid overheating and undue erosion of the tungsten electrode.

TIG welding requires great care and precision.

Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and Metal Active Gas (MAG) welding course

It is a popular method as it can be used with almost any type of metal. The arc is protected by an active (MAG) or a inert(MIG) gas.

The metal inert gas (MIG) process uses a consumable electrode, which is usually in the form of a copper-coated coiled wire. Argon is used to shield the weld, and direct current with the electrode being positive to generate more heat for melting

The MAG and CO2 welding is mainly used for welding mild steel and low-alloy steels (cheaper than argon).
CO2 is really effective as a shield gas if the electrode wire contains up to 1.8% manganese, 0.5% silicon, 0.15% titanium and 0.15% zirconium, which act as deoxidising agents.

Manual metal arc welding (MMA) welding course

Welding is initiated by striking an electric arc between a flux coated electrode and the metal workpiece to be joined. A combination of melted base metal, and molten core wire from the electrode, forms the welded joint. Welding materials are shielded from contaminants in the atmosphere by gases produced from the flux coating.

This process is mainly used in the engineering industry, mainly in shipbuilding and on-site structural engineering.

Gas welding course

One of the most basic welding procedures. The material of the rod and the surface to be welded with the heat. After the material has cooled and solidified, they form a uniform material.

Orbital welding course

Orbital welding is a specialized area of welding whereby the arc is rotated mechanically through 360° (180 degrees in double up welding) around a static workpiece, an object such as a pipe, in a continuous process. In orbital welding, computer-controlled process runs with little intervention from the operator. The process is used specifically for high quality repeatable welding.

A great advantage of this process is that it provides a smooth seam. If the machine is properly programmed, you will receive thousands of the same welded seams from that point on.

Individual welding training

Individual or group training tailored to your needs.

TÜV certified welding course

Specific preparation course for the job, therefore, you can obtain international certification from the chosen procedure in less time.

Optional procedures:

– 135: MAG
– 141: TIG
– 111: MMA

What are the conditions for applying?

-basic education

-medical certificate of aptitude

-18 years of age

Do I get a job after the welding course?

The EGYEDI Welding Academy has nearly 100 contracted partners both domestically and internationally.
We offer our graduates welding jobs mainly in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria after a successful final exam.
For those who do not want to work abroad, we can find the most favorable welding jobs from our domestic partner companies.

For business partners

For companies who want to improve the knowledge of their current welding technicians / engineers, we have developed a training system which is modular.
This allows us to provide a program that meets real needs.

The modules include, in addition to basic welding knowledge, materials knowledge, welding technologies, thermal cutting processes, welding and thermal cutting equipment, welding technology design and development, and health and welding applications.

For the participants sent by our business partners, we organize the trainings nationally at our clients’ premises or at one of our own locations, where they can obtain the required knowledge or certification in a professional way, but also according to individual needs.

In each case, we develop the topic and schedule individually, taking into account the prior knowledge and work schedules of the company’s employees!
This ensures that all participants can take part in most courses.

Our instructors have many years of industry and teaching experience, and this guarantees the transfer of useful, practical knowledge.

Trial work

At our welding bases we also undertake professional testing of prospective employees. This process can be completed in as little as 1-2 hours, so the candidate is qualified on the basis of his or her professional knowledge and practical experience. With this service, you can be sure of hiring a new workforce. We will make sure that your candidate is truly qualified to carry out the selected workflow.

Preparation for work

If necessary, we will prepare the right candidates for the job. Based on a preliminary knowledge survey, the candidate can be prepared for a work process in just a few days.

Cooperative dual training

From the outset, our courses take into account the workforce needs of our corporate partners.
Accordingly, we can prepare the selected participants for the work. This way, at the end of the course, our business partner will receive a well-trained workforce.
Training takes place under the control of our business partners, where they directly reach participants and they can participate in the development of their chosen workforce.
These trainings take an average of 8 to 10 months, including preparation for work. At the end of the training, a full-fledged workforce is available to our partner.
